Maracas available in Munich now, Samba de Amigo next week

Look at what I found while browsing the gaming aisles at Munich’s biggest downtown electronics store:

A truckload of WiiMote Maracas add-ons - the harbingers of Samba de Amigo party-gaming-madness.

A single retail box, containing a pair of maracas, is priced at 20€ - fair considering the sturdy feel of the item.

It’s a shame that Sega can’t bundle the game with maracas, since Nintendo won’t approve of WiiMote add-ons enlarging the controller - and thus making it a better device to wreak havoc in unhappy children hands.

The gaming experience is very different with the maracas and I’d urge you to get a full 2P set.

Sega called and wanted us to get an impression of the release version of Samba de Amigo. Event though you might have to wait until this or next week’s episode for our final verdict, the game did already prove its party gaming compatibility :)

Dinner

Kati made
sure I have dinner that is safe with a fresh, open wound in my mouth.

From the photos you could tell, that I could hardly complain about the
range of delicious choices. I am serious about the delicious
classification. Any kind of food that makes my hunger go away, proves
to be nutritious and most of all does neither hurt nor causes an
infection, is tasty today.

The "Bits und so" & "Games und so" Crew is getting new press photos ... inspiring @emonk_net (i.e. map)

As avid listeners of any of our *undso podcasts (e.g. Bits und so, Games und so) will most likely have
discovered, we have a crew page featuring ad-hoc cropped photos of every team member.

Timo has decided that we
all deserve better and consistent headshots and is busy putting them
together. As much as I’d like to share the pre-production versions
with you, I can’t ;) I suggest you watch either Timo’s twitter stream and/or
the Bits und so website for a
future announcement.

Stop drooling, will you? There’ll be enough chance for that once
the photos are actually out …

With the first couple of new photos floating around on our internal
mailing list, map let me
know that my new photo reminded him of something(.mov,
YouTube, more) - complete with
some photographic proof included in this post, right after the jump.

Oh, before I forget, we also have our amazon wishlists
available to those listeners that feel like doing something good and
shelling out some bucks for us. At this point, I’d also like to thank
all those listeners that keep flooding the studio with sweets and beer
- as for the beer, I don’t drink any, please include some fancy
soft drinks for me, such as some AriZona Iced Tea from your
last U.S. trip ;)

kthxbye.

I admit it, I have a collection of the most geekiest T-shirts this side of the moon ...

… and you know what? I like them all.

I think my deep appreciation for printed T-shirts must have begun
sometime in my early teenage years, probably when starting to listen
to rock. Some of my early and totally worn out by now T-shirts, still serve as home only garment
;)

Of course there are still others, I deem too slick to keep confined to the walls of my lair, no matter how geeky they might
be.

But even among those that I find aesthetically pleasing to a high
extent, there is a seldom instance which I don’t dare to wear in
public - not being twelve anymore. That is, unless I’d be gracing the
sacred grounds of Comic-Con.

For instance my full front print of Marvel’s Civil War cast ;)
